About

Generative artist Soomin Lee discovers beauty in the regular and organic forms of nature. Nature holds inherent rules — periodicity, congruence, and self-similarity. She translates these rules into logic that computers can understand, and form emerges on its own from the execution of that logic. By translating nature-inspired rules into an aesthetic language, her work draws viewers into a deep sense of immersion. Soomin Lee has been a member of Janus Artist Group, a collective of visual artists, since early 2025.

제너레이티브 아티스트 이수민은 자연의 규칙적이고 유기적인 형상에서 아름다움을 발견합니다. 자연에는 주기성, 합동성, 자기유사성과 같은 내재된 규칙이 있습니다. 그녀는 이 규칙들을 컴퓨터가 이해할 수 있는 논리로 설계하고, 형태는 그 논리의 실행으로부터 스스로 생성됩니다. 자연에 영감받은 규칙들을 심미적 언어로 번역해 몰입되는 감각을 제안합니다. 이수민은 2025년 초부터 비주얼아티스트 컬렉티브, 야누스 아티스트 그룹의 멤버로 활동하고 있습니다.
